Dear Students, Families, and Staff,
My name is Dr. Jill E. Michelhaugh, and I am honored and excited to introduce myself as the new Principal of John B. DeValles Elementary School. I am deeply grateful to join this vibrant, multilingual community and look forward to partnering with you throughout the school year.
From the moment I learned about DeValles, I felt connected to its mission and spirit. This is a community rich in culture, history, and diversity, and I believe schools thrive when they celebrate the unique backgrounds and voices of every student and family. My hope is that together, we will continue to build an environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.
I come to this role with a deep passion for education and a strong belief that every student, family, and staff member belongs here. I view my role as both learner and leader, and I am eager to listen, collaborate, and work with you to make DeValles a school we are all proud of.
