DeVALLES GETS GRANT — The New Bedford Education Foundation presented DeValles School $15,000 today. The funds will buy 60 Chromebooks and two 30-unit charging carts. These additional units will augment the school’s existing computers and be used school-wide for reading writing and testing. Speakers included : Principal Darcie Aungst, Jill Horton-Simms (NBEF Chair), Mayor Jon Mitchell, Dr. Pia Durkin, and Mrs. Gig Lang (NBEF Grant Committee Chair). Thank you, NBEF!
